Our process
Clear steps, no surprises
Custom work should feel exciting, not uncertain. Here's exactly what happens from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.
01
Free Consultation
We meet at your home to see the space, take measurements, and talk through how you'll use it, the look you love, and your budget. The first consultation is always free.
02
Plans & Quote
You receive a clear quote. For custom builds, we draw up plans so you can see exactly what you're getting before anything is built; plans carry a design fee based on the size of the project.
03
Built by Hand
We build with hardwood plywood boxes and drawers, in our workshop or on site, whichever suits the job.
04
Finishing
Stain, paint, lacquer, or conversion varnish: we help you choose the right finish for how each piece will be used, then apply it ourselves.
05
Installation
We install everything ourselves and walk through the finished space with you. The job isn't done until you're happy with the result.

Questions
Frequently asked
What areas do you serve?
We work throughout the greater Atlanta area, including Atlanta, Roswell, Lawrenceville, Gainesville, and Lake Lanier. Not sure if you're in range? Just ask.
Is the consultation free?
Yes, the first consultation is free. If your project needs custom plans, there's a design fee based on the size of the project, and larger jobs require a deposit before work begins.
What does a custom kitchen cost?
Every project is priced individually. Most of our new custom kitchens fall between $15,000 and $45,000, and smaller kitchens cost less. You'll receive a clear quote after your free consultation.
How long does a project take?
A full kitchen repaint usually takes a few days to a week once we start, and a bathroom vanity takes one to three days. Stripping and sanding an old finish adds time; when there's no old finish to remove, as with new custom built-ins, painting goes significantly faster. We'll give you a schedule with your quote.
Can you paint or refinish the cabinets I already have?
Yes. If your cabinet boxes are in good condition, we can repaint or refinish kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities, stripping and sanding old finishes when needed.
Which finish should I choose?
It depends on the look you want and how hard the surface will work. Stain shows off wood grain, paint gives a clean uniform color, and conversion varnish is the most durable choice for busy kitchens. We'll walk you through the options and samples during your consultation.
Do you work in your workshop or in my home?
Both. Depending on the project, we build and finish in our workshop or on site, and we always handle the installation ourselves.
What if I'm not happy with something?
Tell us. We're a family business that depends on our reputation, and we work with every client until they're happy with the result.
